Garment Care Guide
Preserve the life and luster of your bespoke garments with our expert care instructions.
Wool Suits & Blazers
Wool is a natural, resilient fiber that recovers well from wrinkles, provided it is given adequate rest between wears.
- Rest: Allow your suit to rest for at least 24 hours between wearings on a contoured wooden hanger.
- Brushing: Brush your suit with a natural bristle garment brush after wearing to remove dust and dirt.
- Dry Cleaning: Dry clean only when absolutely necessary (once or twice a season). Over-cleaning degrades the natural fibers.
- Pressing: Use a steamer rather than an iron to remove wrinkles. Direct heat from an iron can damage the wool.
Silk & Ceremonial Wear
Silks and embroidered garments require delicate handling to maintain their sheen and structural integrity.
- Storage: Store in a breathable cotton garment bag. Never use plastic covers, as they trap moisture.
- Cleaning: Strictly professional dry clean only. Ensure your dry cleaner is experienced with delicate embroideries.
- Protection: Keep away from direct sunlight during storage to prevent color fading.
- Perfumes: Apply colognes or perfumes before putting on silk garments, as alcohol can stain the fabric.
